Nominate Best Programs and Practices

By April 27, 2016 No Comments

Now is the time to nominate your best practices and programs from this school year for MREA’s 2016 Profiles of Excellence Awards.

From Ada to Zumbrota, across Greater Minnesota, MREA wants to know about members’ programs that serve as examples of innovative educational opportunities for our rural students. What are the compelling practices or programs at your school or educational organization?

Criteria

Consider these questions as you think about programs and practices that worked well:

  • Innovation — What made this program unique?
  • Benefit to Students — How did your students benefit from this program?
  • Collaborative Effort — What other individuals, groups and/or agencies worked on developing this program?
  • Ease of Adaptability — How can other districts replicate this program?

Past Winners

Last year’s winning programs came from Rockford Area Schools, Perham-Dent Schools, and Southwest-West Central Service Cooperative. Nominate your programs that are exceptionally effective at the classroom, building, district, or regional level so MREA can share them with other members to improve their students’ education.
