The public is invited to provide feedback on the first draft of the 2019 K-12 Science Standards during Public Review and Comment Period, ending Nov. 26, 2018.  MREA strongly encourages members to provide feedback using the online form. Individuals also may attend a virtual meeting at 8 am on Nov. 20 or face-to-face meetings on that day.

The 21- member Science Standards Committee has only three Greater Minnesota teachers, and all represent regional center districts of over 4,000 students. MREA wishes to thank Mary Colson of Moorhead, Tracy Dibb of Cambridge-Isanti, and Haley Kalina of Alexandria for their service on the Science Review Committee.
