MREA announces the 2019 Educators of Excellence and recognizes them for their passion, innovation and collaboration in achieving results for students across Greater Minnesota.

MREA will share more of each of their stories in the coming weeks and honor the 2019 honorees at the Annual Awards Banquet on Nov. 18 at Cragun’s on Gull Lake near Brainerd.
“These educators are engaging students in new and inventive ways,” said Fred Nolan, executive director of MREA and former teacher, principal and superintendent in Minnesota. “They keep their teaching fresh and are constantly collaborating with others to achieve better results for our students.”
The MREA Board of Directors reviewed nominations categorized by four main geographic zones in Minnesota and selected the 2019 Educators of Excellence based on their impact, innovation, leadership and collaboration. The 2019 awards are sponsored in partnership with ICS Consulting and Sourcewell. Learn more about the award, the honorees.
“By sharing their stories, we hope our state sees the immense impact of teaching and together we continue to elevate teachers in all parts of our state, ” Nolan said.
