The application period has opened for new funding for Minnesota’s Border-to-Border Broadband grant program. The state will host two information webinars this week on the program and the application process.

During the 2017 session, the legislature included $20 million for the program to help invest in building infrastructure into unserved and underserved areas of the state.

The grants can provide up to 50 percent of project development costs, and the maximum grant amount is $5 million. The application period for 2017 is July 3, 2017 until 4:00 p.m. on Monday, September 11, 2017. Learn more and apply.
