Rural school districts are facing workforce shortages for many positions, not just teachers.  This is similar to rural businesses, hospitals and other governmental agencies.  The Center for Rural Policy and Development released a series of reports that provide a rural, statewide perspective to the challenges created by workforce shortages.

The reports focus what workforce shortages look like in different regions of the state, what communities are doing to attract people, efforts being made to help the state’s difficult-to-employ get and keep jobs, and what our future workers think about working—and staying—in rural Minnesota.
