February 28, 2013
1:30 pm-3:00 pm EDT

Join the U.S. Department of Education and Jobs for the Future for this exciting culminating event, the last in a three-session series on rural dropout prevention and recovery sponsored by the Department. This webinar will feature a CIS Performance Learning Center in Berrien County, Georgia and Youthbuild of Southeast Ohio. Presenters and their colleagues will highlight lessons learned about effective use of curriculum, building partnerships, and helping students transition to postsecondary opportunities and careers. These lessons will be applicable for rural districts and community partners looking to build or strengthen their own recovery program. Participants will also have an opportunity to share reengagement and recovery strategies with peers. This event is designed for district and school leaders (superintendents, principals, key district staff, and counselors), recovery program staff, and community partners.
