MREA currently is partnering with six school districts to develop and implement a strategy using social media to better connect with parents and their communities.
The Social Media Project, launched last spring, includes providing districts a social media plan and providing half-day training sessions to their teams. The next session will be held in Grand Rapids on Aug. 19. If your district is interested in hosting or attending a training, contact Diane at firstname.lastname@example.org. The training sessions must be held by September to be included in the first cohort.
Every district that partners with MREA also will participate in a monthly Social Media Dialogue session focused on providing ongoing training to districts and sharing best practices. Those sessions begin in October.
