MREA announced today that Continuing Education Unit (CEU) credit hours are available for attendance at the MREA 2020 Annual Conference. Teachers and administrators who are registered and view the conference sessions online can apply through December 22, 2020 for license renewal clock hours and credits.

Attendance will be verified before a CEU certificate is issued.

TEACHERS

After viewing all your selected sessions at ruralproud.org, complete and submit this form to request clock hours. While not all sessions meet clock hour requirements, teachers are encouraged to view and learn from any sessions of their choice. Please submit only one request per person.

After verification MREA will issue a certificate to submit to the local continuing education or relicensure committee of your district.

ADMINISTRATORS

The Board of School Administrators has approved two options for administrators to earn clock hours:

General Sessions — 3 credits

To earn these 3 credits, administrators must:

  • Log on and view each livestream General Session at 3:30 pm November 16, 17 and 18, and
  • Comment or ask a question in the chat line

View livestream schedule here.

After viewing these 3 livestream sessions complete and submit this form to request clock hours. MREA will issue a certificate after verification.

Breakout Sessions — 3 credits

Administrators can also earn credit for viewing any 3 Breakout Sessions, regardless of whether they viewed the livestream General Sessions.

After viewing 3 sessions, jot down a key takeaway from each session. Complete and submit this form to request clock hours. MREA will issue a certificate after verification.
